Situated on the South Forty Foot rivebank, the Black Sluice Lock Cottages is a conference and training centre with a licensed facility to host social events.
The cottages have their own garden area, and private car park for customers to enjoy.

Our Rooms
Conference Room
Our Conference Room seats up to 25 delegates and has a variety of layout styles to suit your meeting.
A comfortable room with full Internet connectivity through BT WiFi, SMART projector, and printing facilities.
Training Room
Our Training Room provides comfortable space for up to 15 learners and can be laid out to your requirements. Laptops (10 x Windows 11), projector, flipcharts, audios, and printing services can be provided at your request.
Garden Conservatory
This private room can be used for small groups to meet and socialise. It has direct access to the gardens and the downstairs gallery area.
The room layout is suitable for between 6 – 20 people.
Gallery Area
This facility boasts a full catering kitchem service area, and seating for up to 30 people It can be utilised as a Pop-Up cafe or Shop, as a function room for social gatherings. Buffet and licenced services can be provided on request.
Hot Desk facitilies
The Black Sluice Lock Cottages can provide you with ‘Hot Desk’ facilities for up to 1 or 2 people at a time. Full internet and printing services are available.
